Description

German discount retailer Lidl has announced plans to expand its business in Lithuania. The company will create 180 new jobs in different regions in the country. According to the management, Lidl Lithuania has plans to open several new stores, therefore increasing the number of employees in the near future.

The company has already announced 56 vacancies on their webpage. Lidl started its operations in Lithuania in 2016 and currently the company owes 55 stores and employs 2,493 employees there. For three years in a row, Lidl Lithuania has won the certificates of Top Employer Lithuania and Top Employer Europe, which are awarded to companies offering exceptionally good working conditions for their employees.

Lidl is a German retailer offering food and non-food products. The company owes around 11,200 stores in 29 countries.
