The Dutch branch of Boekenvoordeel went into bankruptcy in April 2021, as the stores were forced to close for a long time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The company was then re-acquired by the original owners.
In the coming weeks, the company will announce the final number of stores that will be restarted.
