Portuguese supplier of automotive plastic components Simoldes Plasticos Polska announced that it will create at least 100 jobs at its new production facility in Żory. As a part of its PLN 89 million (€19.69 million) investment, the investor is to build a production hall with an area of almost 15,000 square meters. The factory is expected to be launched in October 2021.
Founded in 1959, Simoldes Plasticos employs over 6,000 worldwide. In Poland, Simoldes Plasticos has been operating since 2003; the company has its first Poland’s factory in the city of Jelcz-Laskowice, where 600 people are employed. The company produces injection molded plastic components – interior and exterior car parts such as pillars, trunk parts, wheel arches and door panels.
