Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish construction company ERBUD announced that it will create over 200 jobs at its new production facility in Ostaszewo launched in April 2021. The investment is divided into 2 stages. The second stage includes the construction of another hall will be operational in the third quarter of 2022. In total, about 600 jobs are planned to be created under the business expansion. Located in the Special Economic Zone, the factory will produce wooden module buildings, especially for the German market. ERBUD is to invest PLN 80-100 million (€17.76-22.21 million) in the project.
Founded in 1990, ERBUD is the biggest Poland’s construction company. The company specialises in commercial construction and provides its services to the energy, road and engineering industries.
