Description

Kärcher, a German family-owned company that operates worldwide and is known for its high-pressure cleaners, floor care equipment, parts cleaning systems, wash water treatment, military decontamination equipment and window vacuum cleaners, announced the expansion of its plant in Curtea de Arges (Arges County). The company will create 500 new positions by October 2021.

The new jobs will be created following a €20 million investment into a new production facility.  The German group inaugurated the first plant in Curtea de Arges in 2016, following a €10 million investment.

Kärcher was founded in 1935 in Germany by inventor Alfred Kärcher. Kärcher is present in 70 countries, employs more than 13,000 workers, has 24 production and logistics points and has registered a global turnover of €2.7 billion in 2020.

Kärcher entered the Romanian market in 2008, and has more than 600 employees, seven Kärcher Center representatives, one Kärcher store, a national service network and national coverage through large chains of stores and authorised distributors.
