Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The US-based IT company Hyland Software has announced that it will create over 100 jobs at its new research and development centre in Katowice in 2021. It is the first company’s unit located in the CEE region. The company is to recruit IT specialists in research and development as well as HR and sales staff.
Hyland Software has been operating since 1991; the company develops the enterprise content management (ECM and process management software suite. The company operates in the United States, Brazil, Australia, Germany, Japan, the UK and India. Currently, Hyland Software employs about 4,000 staff worldwide.
