Polish commercial bank Bank Pocztowy has announced that it will cut up to 235 jobs throughout a collective dismissal programme. The programme will be implemented between May and 30 September 2021; it will affect both the bank’s headquarters and distribution network. The conditions of the programme will be negotiated with the local trade unions in the near future. The programme is related to the deterioration of financial results and potential future losses.

Bank Pocztowy has been operating since 1990. Bank Pocztowy offers financial services for individual customers as well as micro and small enterprises using its network and facilities of the national postal operator Poczta Polska. Currently, the bank employs 1,335 staff across Poland.
