European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
American multinational fast food chain McDonald is planning to open in France around 30 restaurants in 2021 and to create 2,000 new jobs. The group is planning a total investment of €200 million this year, including the investments that will be made to modernise the restaurants already open. Drawing lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic, McDonald's wants to continue to develop home delivery, now using Just Eat and Deliveroo, in addition to Uber Eats and Stuart. The brand is also developing drive-through and click and collect services.
McDonald will reach 1,500 restaurants in France. Currently, it employs 74,000 people.
