Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Revolut, a British fintech company that provides a range of financial services online, is to create 100 new jobs in Vilnius by the end of 2021, where it will be expanding its banking, financial crime and money laundering prevention and customer service teams.
The company opened its office in Vilnius in 2017 and was rapidly expanding since then. Currently Revolut employs around 200 employees in its Vilnius office. According to the management, the Vilnius team is responsible for accelerating the ambitious growth of Revolut in Europe. In total, the company has plans to hire around 1,000 sales professionals in different countries (Lithuania, Poland, Spain, Portugal, France, the United Kingdom and the United States).
Revolut is a global financial platform that offers different banking products – insured deposit accounts, credits, currency exchange, cryptocurrency exchange, peer-to-peer payments, and others. It has around 15 million customers worldwide, 300,000 of them in Lithuania.
