Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Workday is to create 400 new jobs in Dublin. The company provides cloud-based software applications for finance and human resources. It currently employs 1,300 people at its European headquarters in Dublin.
The majority of the new roles will be in product and technology development, sales, software engineering, customer operations, and other functions. Recruitment for the roles will begin immediately. As of March 2021, there is no information on when the recruitment will be finished.
The investment is supported by the Government through IDA Ireland.
