Description

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is to create 150 jobs over the next 2 years in Ireland. The new roles will be in research and development, cybersecurity, software development and cloud consulting. The new roles will be based out of its Ballybrit offices in Galway and Leixlip offices in Kildare. However, the company has said that due to the use of technology new staff will be able to work remotely from anywhere in the country.

As of April 2021, there is no available information on when the employment effect will take place.

The company currently employs 600 people in Ireland, which acts as its cloud and financial services hub. The Galway site has been recently named as its European cyber security operations hub and is set to expand with new roles for data scientists and incident reponse teams.
