The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Lidl Italia, the Italian unit of the German discount supermarket chain Lidl, is planning to hire 400 people in 2021 to strengthen its activity in Italy's largest metropolitan areas. Out of the total, 300 people will be employed in the 18 stores opened by the company in Milan and 100 in the 19 stores in Rome.
The recruiting campaign is underway and involves both managerial positions and operational roles.
Currently, the company owns 680 salespoints in Italy, 50 of which were inaugurated over the course of 2020, and employs over 18,500 workers.
