UK-based hardware retailer Srewfix has announced that it will create 600 jobs in the UK and Ireland. In Ireland, the retailer is to open 10 new stores and employ 100 staff, while in the UK, 40 stores are opened and 500 people hired. The jobs will be in roles such as retail management, service assistants and supervisors. The company reveals that it reported a growing demand for its products during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Screwfix, the United Kingdom’s largest retailer of hardware products, trade tools and accessories, is part of the Kingfisher group. In the UK and Ireland, the company has over 700 stores, employing more than 11,600 people.
