Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
French IT consultancy company Sopra Steria has announced that it will create over 300 jobs at its office in Katowice within the next few months. The company is looking for specialists in cloud technology, operation systems, databases, application support and programmers; Sopra Steria is looking for candidates with knowledge of foreign languages, especially English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. The business expansion is associated with new development projects which have been already launched.
Sopra Steria operates in over 25 countries and employs over 46,000 people worldwide. In Poland, Sopra Steria has been operating since 2007; currently, the company employs over 1,000 people in the country.
