European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Food giant Sodebo has announced the recruitment of 242 people on permanent contracts in 2021. All of them will work at the site of Saint-Georges-de-Montaigu in the Vendée region. This site will be expanded in the years to come. 'We want to continue to innovate and develop', stressed the management, but declined to go more into details because they said the plans will be adapted to the changing context.
A former announcement was recorded in 2018, with 430 job creations (https://apps.eurofound.europa.eu/restructuring-events/detail/93062) of which the above mentioned 242 are part.
