Description

Hägglunds, a Swedish manufacturer of military vehicles, plans to recruit 150 employees by the end of 2021. In addition, 100 consultants will be contracted. The recruited employees will work at the production unit located in Örnsköldsvik, northern Sweden.

The company signed a SEK 5 billion (approximately €500 million) contract with the Netherlands which requires the company to hire additional staff. Hägglunds will upgrade 122 armoured vehicles for the country. This is the second large contract the company has signed in the past months. In November 2020, the company signed a contract with Switzerland for increasing the lifespan of its military vehicles.
