Description

As announced on 20 January 2021, the US parcel and courier service UPS will be cutting 500 jobs at its plants in Neuss and Monheim until the end of 2021 due to internal restructuring. UPS intends to optimise its processes and increase its efficiency potential which thus results in the loss of 500 jobs. UPS emphasised that it will exclude compulsory redundancies. The United Services’ Union criticised the restructuring plans as the company is in stable economic situation.

UPS has 1,000 employees combined at its plants in Neuss and Monheim.
