Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
US-based financial and retail technology company Diebold Nixdorf has announced that it will create 100 jobs at its office in Katowice in 2021. The Katowice office is to be the company’s central unit developing and supplying software to Diebold's global customers from the retail sector. It is expected that the new team will start in the first quarter of 2021.
Diebold Nixdorf provides financial and retail ATM and POS services, software development and IT services for global financial, retail and commercial markets. The company operates in around 130 countries worldwide and employs approximately 23,000 people. In Poland, the company has its offices in Warsaw, Szczecin, Wrocław, Katowice and Kraków.
