Description
The American retail group is to open its second shop in France, at Pontault-Combault (Seine-et-Marne), in mid-November, with 300 new jobs. Costco plans to start recruiting in early summer. 95% of the new hires will come from the geographical area arround Pontault-Combault.
On 8,000 square metres, private individuals and professionals will find around 3,500 products - twenty times less than in most hypermarkets in the classic supermarket sector, particularly in the food sector, which accounts for 50% of the products. A limited choice that allows the chain to offer prices 15 to 20% lower. The items are presented on pallets that replace the shelves.
