Description

The telecommunications infrastructure company, MJ Quinn, the UK subsidiary of France-based Constructel, has announced that it will create 400 jobs at its sites in North West England and South Wales. The jobs will be primarily in surveying, building and testing, but a smaller number back office roles will also be created. The business expansion is due to MJ Quinn securing a contract with Openreach to expand the ‘full fibre’ internet network across the UK.

The managing director said the company was pleased to contribute to building the telecommunications networks of the future and create ‘local jobs for local people'.

MJ Quinn was founded in Liverpool over 40 years ago. The company first specialised in installing and maintaining electrical networks and fire systems on ships visiting the Liverpool Docks, and entered the telecommunications infrastructure industry in the 2000s. It was acquired by Constructuel in 2018.
