Description

Pizza Hut Delivery, the home delivery division of Pizza Hut UK Group has announced plans to create 2,500 jobs as it is planning to open 125 new delivery and takeaway stores across the UK in the next three years. The recruitment drive for new jobs, including delivery driver, shift manager, store manager and head office roles has already started.

Pizza Hut UK’s general manager said the planned business expansion was in response to the increased demand for home delivery and takeaway services since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. In March 2020, home delivery services continued to operate as an ‘essential service,’ while restaurants in the UK had to close, leading to the closure of Pizza Hut restaurants and the loss of 450 jobs.

Pizza Hut UK has more than 400 delivery and express stores and over 200 restaurants in the UK and the company employs 5,700 people.
