Odoo, the Belgian IT company has announced 1,000 new jobs worldwide, including 500 jobs in Belgium. Odoo is counting on the success of its new accounting software and it aims to double its workforce by 2021. The company CEO talked about the difficulties in finding highly skilled people, suffering from the shortage of Belgium talented candidates.
Oddo provides a range of business applications covering a variety of business needs. With about 5 million users and 2,550 partners, the company currently employs 1,000 people in Belgium, Luxembourg, Mexico, UAE, USA and India. The company’s aim is to have 10,000 employees and 150,000 indirect jobs in its partner network, by 2025.
