Sweden-based home health care products and mobility equipment provider ETAC Poland announced that it will create about 140 additional jobs at its production site in Tczew within the next few years.

The factory with an area of 11,700 square metres has been operating in the city since February 2020 and currently employs about 60 employees. In the near future, the company is to launch a new mechanical department where metal components will be produced. A high-way warehouse at the unit is expected to be ETAC’s distribution centre for Europe. The new ETAC production plant was designed in accordance with the principles of sustainable construction; the unit is certified by DGNB (German Association of Sustainable Building) at the Gold Level.

Founded in 1973, ETAC is a world-leading developer and provider of ergonomic assistive devices and patient handling equipment. ETAC, headquartered in Sweden, employs more than 900 employees worldwide. The company’s products are available in over 50 countries.
