Description
The poultry company Pluimveebedrijf GPS is to close itsĀ husbandry activity in Nunspeet, and 300 employees will lose their job as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.
According to the administrator, failure does not mean that discussions with potential candidates will stop. Consultations would still take place.
At the end of October 2020, the company tried to avoid bankruptcy by restarting the enterprise under new ownership, but this was not successful. In the first instance, the enterprise dismissed 150 temporary workers. However, this was not sufficient to save the enterprise.
