Description

RocDoc, an Irish healthcare group is to open three private Covid-19 testing centres. They will employ 200 people to staff the three new centres. The company is based in County Meath and opened its first drive-through Covid-19 testing service in August 2020 in response to a growth in demand for testing.

The company is recruiting for swabbing staff, various medical professionals and customer care staff to meet the demand for Covid-19 testing, which is expected to continue in 2021.

The chief executive of RocDoc, David Rock, said since the centre opened in Ashbourne in August, it has been very busy.

"Our drive-thru test centre has been operating seven days a week to meet public demand and we are receiving requests from across the country. We can offer express tests with results in only a few hours" he said.
