The manufacturer specialised in dance articles and luxury shoes, Repetto, has announced 51 job cuts in France out of a total workforce of 300 employees. 31 job cuts concern the Saint-Médard-d'Excideuil production plant (140 employees, Dordogne). The others would concern the brand's shops located in France. The employees will be made redundant. According to a trade union leader, activity has been declining for the last three years. The lockdown and the health situation have only accentuated the company's difficulties. A job protection plan has been signed with the unions.
