Description

As announced on 27 October 2020, the German circuit board manufacturer Schoeller Electronics will close its only plant in Wetter at the end of January 2021, which will result in the loss of 180 jobs. Since the company had filed for bankruptcy in May 2020, Schoeller has been looking for a new investor – the search was unsuccessful. As a result, Schoeller will cease operations at the end of January 2021. The works council and the management are currently in negotiations regarding a social plan.
