Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The world’s leading exchange operator Nasdaq is to create 100 new jobs in its Technology and Business Competence Centre in Vilnius. Currently the service centre has 331 employees and the company is now looking for highly qualified technology specialists.
The Nasdaq Technology and Business Competence Centre in Vilnius was officially opened on 13 October, 2015. In five years, the number of employees in Nasdaq companies operating in Lithuania increased from 30 to 390, making the office in Lithuania the second largest Nasdaq office in Europe and the third largest in the world. The Nasdaq group has positively assessed the first development phase of the centre and decided to further expand in Lithuania.
The centre provides support and develops IT infrastructure for financial markets, performs finance and accounting as well as other functions to listed companies and financial institutions worldwide.
