Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German automotive supplier Mahle Behr, a subsidiary of Mahle, announced it will create 150 new jobs at its production facility in Ostrów Wielkopolski.
The company is looking for production staff and forklift drivers; special training is expected to be provided for new employees according to their needs. The business expansions, including jobs creation and launching a new production hall, is a response to an increase in demand for cooling modules and components both for combustion engines, hybrid and purely electric cars.
Currently, Mahle employs 77,000 staff in more than 30 countries worldwide. The unit in Ostrów Wielkopolski employs 2,500 people.
