European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Spanish public post office company Correos will create 822 new permanent jobs to ensure the home delivery of packages between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm, a time slot in which citizens are generally more at home than during the rest of the day. The logistics company will implement this measure first in province capital cities and, depending on the results, will extend it to other large populations in the country. 780 of the 822 new permanent jobs will be for delivery positions and 42 for middle managers.
