Description
Yodel, the British delivery company has announced that it is creating 450 new courier and parcel sorter jobs at its 50 sites in the UK by Christmas 2020. The company is also recruiting 2,500 self-employed couriers.
The chief executive officer said that company expected the demand for their services in the festive period to be 'higher in intensity' than usual, because of the combined effects of the COVID-19 restrictions meetings and the shift towards the use of online services.
Yodel is one of the largest couriers in the UK, along with Royal Mail. The company works with clients in a wide range of sectors, including fashion, health and beauty, home and garden, and gifts.
