Description

Henkel announced that 95 employees at the German site in Heidelberg will be made redundant by September 2021. The reason is the decision to concentrate its production of adhesives for the automotive industry in Montornès (Spain). The company announced that it wants to carry out redundancies in a socially acceptable manner. Dismissals due to operational reasons are not planned. Henkel stressed that its production site in Heidelberg was not under discussion regarding any other restructuring plans. The site in Heidelberg plans to further focus on the production of special parts for batteries.
