Description

Stonegate Pub Company, the British hospitality firm has announced that it is making 300 jobs redundant as part of restructuring following the acquisition of the Ei Group earlier this year. Stonegate’s head office in Luton, Bedfordshire, will move to Solihull, West Midlands, to the Ei Group’s former headquarters. The affected employees are members of the support teams of both companies.

A statement by Stonegate said the restructure aimed to reduce costs and prepare the business for the ‘post-Covid’ era when the hospitality sector gains 'trading momentum'.

Stonegate Pub Company is the largest pub company in the UK, with 4,730 pubs, under several brand names, including Yates and Slug and Lettuce.
