Description
Jigsaw, the British luxury fashion chain has confirmed plans for a restructure with 13 store closures across the UK, leading to a minimum of 200 redundancies. Locations where Jigsaw shops will close include London, Manchester and Birmingham.
A spokesperson for Jigsaw said the Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) with its landlords and creditors will allow the business to follow its 'turnaround strategy' and 'refocus' on their core business. The company pursued the restructure after experiencing a significant drop in sales caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jigsaw has 74 stores and employs 900 people across the UK. The company also has stores and concession partners in Ireland, the Netherlands, the USA and Australia.
