Description

Screwfix, the UK-based hardware retailer has announced that it will open 30 new stores across the UK by the end of January 2021, creating new 300 jobs. The jobs will be in roles such as retail management, service assistants and supervisors.

The company’s chief executive officer said there was a 'growing demand for convenience' and added that the new stores will bring job opportunities for local communities 'when they need it most'.

Screwfix is the United Kingdom's largest retailer of hardware products, trade tools and accessories, with more than 680 stores in the UK. It was listed as an ‘essential retailer’ during the COVID-19 restrictions and continued to trade as normal with extra protection in stores.
