The US-based online retailer Amazon has opened a second distribution center in Austria, creating 120 jobs at the site. The opening of the first distribution center in Großebersdorf took place in 2018 (100 jobs created). In this case, Amazon organised the transport of its packages through 400 drivers of small delivery companies to reduce dependence from bigger courier services.
