Description
Slovak airline, Go2Sky, which was established in 2012, will close its operations from September 2020. The company provided leasing of four B737-800s airplanes with crew, insurance and maintenance. According to the Go2Sky president, the closure is attributed to the negative economic impacts of the coronavirus crisis on the airlines. The four planes on lease will be returned to their respective lessors and about 150 employees will be dismissed. The president raised the possibility that the airline may restart services in the future when air transport returned to normal.
