European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Star Assembly, part of the Daimler group and manufacturer of parts and accessories for motor vehicles, announced the creation of 145 new jobs, resulting from an investment of €250 million for the production of the two-step automatic gearbox which started to be produced in Sebes (Alba county, Centre region) in February 2019.
Star Assembly and Star Transmission are the Romanian subsidiaries of Daimler in Sebş and Cugir, and are key pillars in the Mercedes-Benz Cars global value chain and currently employ more than 3,000 employees.
