Description

The Arup Group, the British multinational engineering, architecture and design services firm has confirmed that it will cut 350 jobs across the UK due to the economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 crisis. The redundancy consultations with the affected staff have already started.

A spokesperson for the company said that the pandemic had 'crystallised the need' to restructure the business in preparation for the post-pandemic market conditions.

Arup has 16 offices and over 6,000 employees in the UK. The firm’s recent high projects included the Queensferry Crossing in Scotland and Crossrail in London.
