Description
Retail Aldi Magyarország subsidiary of the German discount chain, will hire 100 new workers at several stores, while the launching of a new cold store at the firm’s Biatorbágy logistics centre in the autumn will generate 50 additional jobs. With the creation of new storage capacity, the firm almost doubles its cold store floor area in Hungary. The new positions will be for commercial, logistics and IT roles.
The firm increases its staff as a response to the expansion of turnover, even though the number of Aldi stores does not change. The firm cannot expand its operation in Hungary as fast as it would like, due to the 'Plaza-stop' ban on establishing new large commercial units.
