Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Esselunga, one of the leading Italian supermarket chains, will hire over 100 new workers to expand its business activities in several regions (Emilia Romagna, Veneto, Piemonte, Lazio, Liguria, Toscana and Lombardia).
The company is looking for various professional figures, among which cashiers, call centre operators for the customer service, operators of various sales departments (butchery, gastronomy, bakery, and so on) and sales point managers.
Currently, the company counts over 24,000 workers in Italy who are employed in more than 150 sales points across the country.
