Description
Matild Palace Hotel, a Budapest hotel owned by the Turkey-based Özyer Group, held a two-day recruiting event on August 4 and August 5, aiming to hire 200 workers, including housekeepers, supervisors, bartenders, front desk personnel, restaurant and café personnel.
Matild Palace, originally built at the very beginning of the 20th century, was sold by the local government to the Özyer Group in 2014. The firm renovated the building into a luxury hotel which is to be opened in the fourth quarter in 2020.
While the coronavirus crisis had a dramatic impact on the Hungarian hotel sector, the preparations for the opening of the new hotel are going ahead unabated.
