Description

Back-office company Standard Chartered Global Business Services announced that it plans to increase its employment by 13% in its centre in Warsaw in the near future. The company is currently recruiting for 80 new IT-positions in the newly established units for data protection, advanced data analysis, transaction analysis and information flow in terms of fraud detection, education in the field of cybersecurity, cooperation between offensive and defensive areas of cybersecurity. Furthermore, the plant provides back-office services to the group's subsidiaries, including financial operations, technology services, cybersecurity services and banking operations.

Following the expansion of the activities in the country, the company has moved into a new office space, with an area of 7,000 square metres. The company started its operations in Warsaw in September 2018. Currently, Standard Chartered Global Business Services employs 600 people at its Warsaw unit; its headquarters are located in London, while the group operates in more than 70 countries worldwide.
