Description
The e-commerce giant Amazon announced a plan foreseeing 1,600 new hires in Italy by the end of 2020. They will all be open ended jobs and this plan will bring the total Italian workforce of the company up to 8,500.
These new job opportunities are targeted to people with all types of education and skill levels in areas such as software development, linguistics, logistics, human resources and IT. New hires will be employed at different locations, among which the Milan Business Center, the Development of Turin and Asti; the Cagliari Customer Service; and the Distribution Centers, Sorting Deposits and Prime Now warehouses throughout the country.
At the end of 2019, Amazon employed in Italy 6,900 workers in 25 different establishements located all over the national territory.
