Description

Megatech Idustries, a producer of automotive components,  announced that it will cut 139 jobs throughout a collective dismissal programme at its production unit in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Poland, in 2020. Around 84 affected workers have already been dismissed. The programme is related to the Covid-19 pandemic and a drop in demand which has affected the automotive industry.

Megatech Industries was founded in 1889. Currently, the company employs has its production sites in Austria, Brazil, Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Lichtenstein, Poland, Portugal and Spain. The company specializes in the production of car upholstery.
