The Polish furniture company Benix announced that it plans create more jobs at its new sewing room in Przemyśl, Poland, than it initially declared in February 2020. Currently, the company plans to create in total 300 positions what implies that additional 200 employees will be hired at the site. The facility, which is expected to be operational in fall 2020, will specialise in the production of upholstery for furniture. The company is looking for tailors and sewers; the recruitment process has been launched.
The business is planning a further business expansion in the future and wants to recruit up to 600 people.
Benix, one of the largest producer of upholstered and leather furniture in Poland, was found in 1993. Currently, the company has two factories and employs about 1,000 people.
