Description
Due to the Corona-crisis Billund airport has indicated it will lay off 270 employees, around one third of staff. The airport expects that the number of passengers will be more than halved in 2020 compared to 2019. 3.7 million passengers traveled through Billund last year. But the airport fears that this year's number will decline by 2 million. Management also states that it does not expect air traffic to return to the same level as in 2019 for many years.
