The Supermarket chain Mercadona is creating more than 100 permanent positions in Spain from June 2020. The offers are for qualified positions with salaries ranging between €2,900 and €5,700 per month. Candidates must have a vocational training certificates or higher educational level. The vacancies are based in various units around Spain. This employment expansion is attributed to the increase in demand during the COVID-19 crisis. The company is implementing other employment measures during the COVID-19 crisis, for instance, a 20 per cent salary rise to its current workforce.
