Description

The wind turbine blade manufacturer LM Wind Power, a subsidiary of the General Electric Renewable Energy GE group, announced the recruitment of 250 employees for its wind turbine blade factory in Cherbourg (Manche) by the end of the first quarter of 2021. The plant is primarily seeking to increase its production staff, but also production supervisors, quality controllers, logistics operators and maintenance technicians. All of them will be trained for 12 months, and will obtain the bipartite certificate of Qualification (CQP) in metallurgy as autonomous industrial production team members. The plant, which opened in April 2018, currently has around 300 employees.
