Description
The Bulgarian MD Elektronik, owned by the German MD Elektronik manufacturer of data communication solutions for the automobile industry will hire up to 200 employees for its new plant in Vratsa, Bulgaria, by the end of 2021. The first 20 employees in Vratsa were hired in February 2020 and the total number of employees is planned to be between 300 and 500. The Bulgarian plant will produce data transmission cables and electronic components at first for the Volkswagen and Mercedes groups. The German MD Elektronik was established in 1974 and currently has subsidiaries in China, the Czech Republic and Mexico, with nearly 5,000 employees worldwide. The group is a supplier to all German automobile manufacturers.
